Speakers Bureau & Presentations

The purposes of our Speakers Bureau and Presentations are:

To foster acceptance, integration and real participation of people with disabilities, just like anyone else, in local communities
To generate public awareness about personal human interest, success stories about abilities and contributions of people with disabilities as “People-First” via social media
To educate and help employers to understand the abilities and benefits of hiring people with disabilities
To distribute information to people with disabilities and families about the choice of “Self-Directed Services” and create more flexibility for allowable services/supports
To increase visibility of the Coalition’s “Speakers Bureau” and offer scheduled presentations to diverse audiences on select topics
